This verse is the theme of a product of His creation that for many has been hidden until now, it is my hope to educate as many people as possible to a very very tasty treat, one that I am sure you and others will enjoy! The purpose of this site is to share many wonderful recipes, idea’s, and thoughts about how to use garlic pesto. I welcome you and invite you to share with everyone any recipes and experience with garlic pesto. I have had much fun in discovering all the ways to use the pesto and more fun in seeing the reaction I often get from those who have tried it, (O Taste and See) I think truly at some point we may even have to develop a fan page or something for this cute little green garlic stalk!
Some ask where does it come from and I actually found out while growing garlic it only comes for a short 3 to 4 week period in June and only on certain varieties of garlic it is hard to come by, which is why I have been working on ways to make it available for longer periods of time, Lord willin’ my goal is to have enough to market year around.
As I shared earlier seeing the reaction of people has been my greatest enjoyment in this, and a pretty mean warm white cheddar garlic cheese dip I have discovered using the pesto has won great fan fare, and many laughs over their enthusiasm. This has been a blessing to me to be able to be a part in providing it to you.
A little about myself
My Husband and I farm together, we’ve been involved in farming for many years and have enjoyed what we do. I usually have a little something else I do on the side and this is one of those projects. I believe this is and growing garlic has been one of the most fun things I have done, and it is my hope and desire that you will also experience some of the fun in your experience with garlic pesto.
