Who Are We?
Psalm 34:8 O’ Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the Man that trusteth in Him
This verse is the theme of a product of His creation that for many has been hidden until now, it is my hope to educate as many people as possible to a very very tasty treat, one that I am sure you and others will enjoy! The purpose of this site is to share many wonderful recipes, idea’s, and thoughts about how to use garlic pesto and garlic cheese dip. I welcome you and invite you to share with everyone any recipes and experience with garlic cheese dip and garlic pesto. I have had much fun in discovering all the ways to use these two products and more fun in seeing the reaction I often get from those who have tried it, (O Taste and See)
Some ask where does it come from and I actually found out while growing garlic it only comes for a short 3 to 4 week period in June and only on certain varieties of garlic it is hard to come by.
As I shared earlier seeing the reaction of people has been my greatest enjoyment in the first taste of the white cheddar garlic cheese dip I have discovered using the pesto has won great fan fare, and many laughs over their enthusiasm. This has been a blessing to me to be able to be a part in providing it to you.
A little about myself
As the New Year begins I was considering a new change in the front page of my web site. I would like to start with the title of this website, Otasteandsee (O taste and see) which is a verse in the bible psalm 34:8 I ran across a commentary that put’s it like this, Taste and see does not mean check out God’s credentials. Instead it is a warm invitation. Try this I know you’ll like it’ When we take that first step of obedience in following God, we cannot help discovering that he is good and kind. When we begin the Christian life our knowledge of God is partial and incomplete. As we trust him daily, we experience how good he is.
I am speaking to those who know him, and now I am speaking to those who do not have a personal relationship with the Savior. This is absolutely the most important decision a person will ever make, there is eternal life and no matter who you are you,you will spend it in heaven or hell. The only thing that decides that is the choice you make to believe or reject the saving power in the blood shed for us on the cross and his resurrection on the 3rd day, because, Romans 3:23 says For we all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God, v. 24 says being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Meaning 1st we have to know we have sinned against a Holy and righteous God who loved us enough to provide us a sinless Son to take our place. Next 1 john 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, (when we pray we need to really mean this with true sorrow in our heart for all we’ve done). Next we need to receive his pardon for our sin by inviting him to come into our hearts and save us from all our sins, you can do this anywhere it is best to be on your knees, (not required) however it brings more meaning from your heart) If you have prayed this you can trust the promise made that you are a child of God now and will always have him and eternal life in earth and in heaven. Now that you belong to him you have been bought with a price, and that means we owe him our hearts, and the first step is read your bible, start in the book of John it will give you more of an understanding of what your new life in Christ will be, and who he is. Then find a good bible believing church or someone you know that is a follower of Jesus and they can help you to find a good church or bible study. There are a lot of false teachings out there and it is important to get involved with only bible believing teaching. one last thing please I pray don’t put this off! None of us know when we will run out of time, this may very will be your last opportunity to be saved, after that you will not have any more chances your fate will be sealed forever, if you truly knew what that means you would not hesitate one second, I may never meet you here, but I sure hope to and will look forward to meeting you in a place the bible describes eye has not seen nor ear has heard of what our Lord has waiting for us.
